The trainer hack
----------------

NOTE: The following cheats work in JOYSTICK MODE only (press '2' on the title screen to select).

HERBERT'S DUMMY RUN+25D crazy trainer hack is the standard game of Herbert's Dummy Run by Mikro-gen but with additional 25 in-game features that have been added by Hackersoft. Press the following keys during game play to turn on/off the extra features:

  Q = Sprite collision OFF
  W = Sprite collision ON 
  E = Infinite lives ON
  R = Infinite lives OFF
  T = Reset the Timer to 1:00
  Y = Game ending - just flick the switch!*
  U = Just give 'em to me!*
  I = Skip one room left
  O = Skip one room right
  P = Tears OFF
  @ = Tears ON
  A = Mini Game: Baby Blitz
  S = Mini Game: Baby Breakout
  D = Mini Game: Dalek Invaders
  F = Mini Game: Log Jump
  G = Activate Jack-in-a-box in first room**
  H = Teleport to left of room
  J = Teleport to right of room
  K = Teleport to top of room
  L = Teleport to bottom of room
  Z = Main colour of Herbert
  X = Outline colour of Herbert
  C = Border colour
  V = Freeze some of the Nasties
  B = Unfreeze the Nasties


Notes

* Press the 'SPACE BAR' when you get to the top of the escalator, and also when the "Jelly Babies" message appears.

** Stand on the Jack-in-a-box in the first room and press 'G' to activate it. Weeeeeee ;)

Remember - the original game is always there and you don't have to press anything if you don't want any of the features - which is a little different than the usual trainers that only give you options before it decrunches and then you are stuck with your decisions. More accessibility for the player and much more fun overall :)


The story
---------
Herbert, the baby who first made such a nuisance of himself in "Everyone's A Wally" is now a toddler and has gone shopping with Wally and Wilma to the department store. Unfortunately the older he gets the more of a nuisance he becomes. As they enter the store, he wanders off and becomes lost getting into all sorts of bother.

Wally and Wilma are waiting in the lost and found which Herbert must reach for the family to be re-united. Help him overcome the many perils that each department has in store, many of which take the form of enjoyable and addictive arcade games.

The gameplay
------------
The game begins with Herbert in the Toy Department. At the top of the screen you will see a clock which is set at 1 PM. You must get Herbert back to his parents in the "LOST AND FOUND'by closing time, 5.30 P.M. To achieve this you must solve the adventure as well as completing the many and varied arcade sequences. These games are also playable in their own right, though you will find that you will require certain items to play some of them. To hit a tennis ball, for instance, you would normally use a TENNIS RACQUET and to bomb buildings you would need a BOIL.

Using the lift is an easy way of moving around the store but only if it's on your floor. If it's not you will get a sinking feeling. Climbing ropes could be handy but you may come across a jumbo sized problem. In order to reduce your tears you will need to find and eat various goodies.
