DEATHLORD
=========

(C) 1987 Electronic Arts

Original disk images (not necessary for playing the game):

dlord_1.d64 - Boot Disk (copy protected original, doesn't run)
  dlord_s1.d64 - Master Scenario Disk A
  dlord_s2.d64 - Master Scenario Disk B

Patched and created disk images (use these for playing the game):

dlord_p.d64 - Boot Disk (patched: copy protection removed)
scen_a.d64 - virgin Scenario disk A (created with "Utilites")
scen_b.d64 - virgin Scenario disk B (created with "Utilites")

NOTES:

This version of Deathlord was copied from a new set of Original Disks -
I bought the game still in the original shrinkwrap. I disassembled and
removed the copy protection myself, so now the game should boot up in
its original state, including the fast loader. The original 'Boot Disk'
image was added for archival references only, you should always play
the game from the patched 'dlord_p.d64' disk image.

The game requires you to create a set of 'Scenario Disks' from the
Master Scenario disks through a command in the "Utilites Menu". I went
through this process for both Scenario Disks. To play the game use the
resulting disks "scen_a.d64" and "scen_b.d64". The original two Master
Scenario Disks are only used fot this purpose, so you shouldn't need
them to play the game.

If you are going to play the game on an Emulator, be sure to have the
'true drive emulation' turned on (VICE) or Normal Load (Speed) on CCS64.

Before you can play you must create a party with the characters and save this
party on scen_a.d64. Then you can play a game with your party.
